Independent Kitchen Design
After having your first design and quotation you are likely to book a few more, so that you can compare designs and costs.
Unfortunately, this has the effect of "muddying the waters" ...
Your 2nd kitchen salesman will try to change the design of the 1st kitchen salesmen because ...
- • He wants to appear a better kitchen designer than the 1st
- • He wants to install doubts in your mind about the 1st design
- • He wants to make it impossible to compare his quote (just on price)
- • He may not sell the style and type of cabinets designed by the first salesmen
- • He is very likely to sell different appliances and worktops
- • His fitting services may offer more or less than your first quotation
So, his quotation will not be based upon the previous design and will be time limited (discounts end on Saturday etc) ... this is to try and persuade you to buy his design before you get any other quotes.
Your 3rd, 4th, and any further free kitchen design will follow a similar pattern, with each kitchen salesman trying to "out-do" each other, leaving you with a whole heap of conflicting information that you have to make a decision about.
Is this in your best interest? ... Or are these salesmen just trying to persuade you to buy something (anything) they supply?
In summary ... "free" kitchen designs are offered by kitchen retailers for the sole purpose of selling their products, and the kitchen designs they produce are heavily biased towards their own goods and services.
