Glass Worktops ...
The success of Glass Splashbacks has spawned the introduction of Glass Worktops into the UK.
Glass Worktops can be visually stunning (particularly Black Glass Worktops), particularly when fitted with matching splashbacks.
Glass worktops are normally supplied as 19mm thick toughened glass that is edge polished and spray painted on the back.
The choice of colour is massive, basically you can choose any R.A.L. colour.
However, please be aware of the following:
1. Despite being made from toughened glass - they scratch easily
2. Lighter colours are quite translucent - and do not appear to be a solid colour
3. There are fewer edge profiles available
